Excellent Condition for age
This is a very unusual Armme Stereoscope that was manufactured in the United States by the Armme Company LTD. 608 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois in the late 50's or early 60's for viewing Realist format 3D slides. It is made from rigid black plastic and has no cracks or breaks. It is illuminated by a 3v single filament incandescent bulb and powered by two 'D' sized batteries (which are not included to keep shipping costs as low as possible). The single element lenses can be screwed out for focusing and cleaning. The light is activated by a button on the underside of the unit. The viewer is comfortable and light to hold and works very efficiently. The lenses have been checked and both are clear.
The rare original box is included. It does have some shelf wear around the top corners and edges, but it
is sound and sturdy. A facsimile of the rare original instruction manual is included which will tell you
everything you ned to know about the features and care of your viewer.
