Götz 1995 Limited Edition Sasha Marianne No. 209/500 All Original - Only 300 Made!
Marianne was produced in 1995 for the
Friends of Sasha
newsletter.  Although this doll is marked 209/500, according to Susanna E. Lewis'
Sasha Dolls Serie Identification
, only 300 were actually produced.  She has her original hangtags.  Her certificate is damaged but retains her number 209/500 and Anke Götz' signature, as does the tag of her dress.  She wears a turquoise corduroy yoke dress with matching shorts, a white ribbed vest, white socks and white leather ankle-strapped shoes, a recreation of an outfit from the first German Production. Her original cost was 0.00.
Marianne is very tightly strung and as a result has some degree of neck caving - see the last picture.  Because she is so tightly strung, she cannot turn her head to the left, and she cannot gaze up to the left.  Also, her arms only stay all the way up or up and outstretched, but not halfway between up and down.

I am sadly having to part with most of my collection of Natterers, Sashas, Kishes, and other collectable (and/or playable!) artists' dolls and hope they all find good homes!
