    Description

    The Motor Year Book 1952
    Straight From the Clymer Archives.
Compiled by Laurence Pomeroy, M.S.A.E. and R.L. de Burgh Walkerley
An illustrated review of the year’s new cars, technical trends, racing and records. More than 226 pages
The Motor Year book in 1952 is the fourth year of the “THE MOTOR: YEAR BOOK. For the 1952 contains, as did its predecessors, a complete record of the new cars, accessories and sporting events of the past twelve months (in 1952) together with expert commentary on technical trends and vivid summaries of major races. The slightly extended text for 1952 contains detailed descriptions and dull specifications of eleven British and ten foreign cars: road test figures and commentary on eighteen British and eight foreign cars; summary of the year’s five leading motor shows: the results if sixty-nine races together with twenty individual reports thereon and the year’s successes achieved by each individual make of car. There is also a section on foreign touring and as usual a section from the inimitable Brockbank.
This work is unique in the field of motoring and motor sport and with each succeeding issue “The Motor” Year Book became increasingly invaluable as a book for immediate reading and reference.
Road and Track writes: “This book is the Rolls-Royce of its field-simply beyond comparison. Its quality makes it a treat to the eye and the excellence of its material a cold mine of information.
