    Description

For the Stereo Photographer & Collector
Super bright 3V screw base LED bulb (E10) for vintage viewers
This bulb will work with most viewers that use a screw base bulb and are powered by two batteries
    Some examples
    :
Realist red button, green button (DC cartridge), View-Master, Revere/Wollensak, TDC, Kodaslide I and II (with batteries)
    etc.
and will provide very bright light with daylight temperature
    Please note
    : In most viewers (
the Realist red button is one example
    ) y
ou will need to reverse the batteries for the bulb to work
    )
All you need to do is remove the old bulb and put this one.  No modifications are required. At first I was a bit skeptical of these bulbs vs. the halogen bulb (my previous favorite). But through the years I have grown to really like them and have heard from many satisfied customers who love them. One great advantage is that they drain the batteries slowly while remaining quite bright.
    Advantages:
    Bright light
    Daylight Temperature
Lasts for a very long time
Constant light intensity even as the batteries are depleted
Consumes less energy (save on batteries)
    Less (or no) light flickering
Easy to install, no modifications required
Instant upgrade for your vintage viewer
    Notes:
You might need to reverse the polarity of the batteries
(THE BULB NEEDS A SPECIFIC POLARITY TO WORK you will need to reverse the batteries in the Realist red button viewer)
Best results when the viewer has a bright white interior
(especially the top where the lamp is pointed to)
It will not work with vintage transformers
    (because they are AC)
For some people the light will appear too blue.
In this case, you might consider putting a warming gel in front of the bulb.
