elf Classic Head Half Cent 1811 Wide Date Four Star Die Break

The Classic Head Half Cent design was minted 1809-1835. Quarter dollar size copper coin.
1811 is a scarce date--one of the lowest mintage of the type, prior to the War of 1812.  There are two major types-the Wide Date and the Close Date.  The obverse die for the Wide Date developed a rim break that connected to one star, then progressed until it connected to four stars, as on this coin.  Walter Breen ranked this die pair as R4.
The reverse legend is weak at TED STA, due to the metal that flowed into the rim break on the obverse.  The weakness at the top of the obverse/bottom of the reverse is either damage or an extremely off-center first strike (it looks like the points of a star in the obverse area.)
