Absolutely incredible 75-piece set of vintage mid century modern dish ware, designed by artist Ben Seibel in 1956 for Iroquois pottery’s Impromptu line. These dishes are the real deal in mid century tableware. Amazing, atomic starburst designs in delicate gold, blue-gray and aqua on creamy, shining porcelain. Gorgeous, gently curving shapes with a modern flair that has now become timeless. VERY rare find to come across such a large set in this condition—there is full service for 10, plus many extras and some pretty killer serving pieces. Nearly everything is in excellent, like new condition, with just a few exceptions, noted below, and shown in the pictures. There is also just a bit of slight variation in the pigmentation of some decals, to be expected in a set where some pieces probably saw daylight more than others. More pics available upon request.

Flaws noted (all else in EXCELLENT condition):
-1 dinner plate with chip
-1 soup bowl with a yellowed crack
-1 soup bowl with a small rust mark on the underside
-1 salad plate with a grayish mark in the middle
-Gravy plate has a chip on the underside of the rim, not at all visible when in use
-Salt and pepper have several yellowed cracks
-coffee pot has a small dot that is raised, indicating that it can probably be removed but I will let the buyer decide if it’s worth it. It’s very small.
I do not want to break up the set. I want one buyer who will cherish!
