Antique Porcelain Umbrella Stand CHINA Crown Sword Motif

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING.  Admittedly, WE are not experts and will describe this beautiful umbrella stand to the best of our ability.  Anyone out there that has expertise please contact us and we'll update this listing. We acquired this umbrella stand at an old estate.  It is quite unusual and the design has a majestic feel and is quite appealing at least to us. It has two applied handles.  Initially we thought the maker deliberately gave it a crackle finish but on closer examination saw that the vessel was crazed all over inside and our as well as on the bottom.  All this suggests at least a number of decades of age though we make no estimate of age.  Marked on the bottom Made in China and clearly would have been produced for export. We "believe" this is made of porcelain given the weight which is over 11 Lbs.  The design is embellished with touches of gold gilding that looks hand painted.  The motif includes crowns and what looks like the handle of a sword in the center.  The design is repeated on both sides. Condition wise, there is a distinctive crack on the inside in addition to the aforementioned crazing.  There is a small chip on the inside of the top rim as shown. Excluding the handles it is approximately 8" diameter, x 17 1/2" tall.  We are selling this to the highest bidder "as is" with no returns accepted so please review the photos and description with care before bidding.  Local pick-up is available in Cathedral City CA next to Palm Springs.
