#503 505 1982 Sasha Baby Overalls Playsuit Straw Basket 12” Brunette Doll

Description

Still sewed into the original straw Moses basket, this 12” Brunette Sasha Baby wears corduroy overalls Playsuit #505 and is a jointed vinyl doll that was manufactured in England by Trendon Limited somewhere between 1973 and 1980.
Brown eyes highlighted with blue eye shadow, pink lips and rooted hair.
Doll wears a small silver Sasha Serie wrist tag and has original Sash catalog.
Condition Issues
: a bit of a
musty
smell. It’s getting better with fresh air though. I wasn’t able to do much cleaning since doll is still attached to basket.
Sasha Baby appears to have never been removed from the basket so I didn’t remove the clothing. The terry cloth shirt piped in red has some stains most likely from being stored somewhere damp. Doll has some surface dust. Hair is a little poufy but comes with instructions for calming the hair by putting it in a sock.
