2007 Mini Cooper. This 2007 mini cooper is originally from Texas. It was brought to Maine on a trailer, was NOT driven here. It has No rust. The body of this vehicle is in very very good shape. All interior is good except a little slit in the letter on the seam on the drivers side. The cooper runs, buts runs ruff. The check engine light is on, has been on for the 3 yrs that i have owned the vehicle. i have had no issues driving my mini the whole time i have owned it while I was in Texas. Was used as an everyday rider and even went on trips to the Gulf of Texas which were 3 hours trips one way at least once a month. When first purchased put on a code reader and said it was a head gasket that needed to be replaced.  I have had no issues with the way the mini runs until i got here in Maine and changed the oil to the oil that the manufacturer recommended. Now it runs a little rough and at times smokes out the tail pipe and at times, not every time when it runs there is a slight ticking. This vehicle has always had the oil changed every 3 thousand miles since i've owned the vehicle.. I do not have the knowledge or does any mechanic that I trust around me  to get into the next step on working on this mini.
